04.01.013 - Pink Culture Cosmetics

I've never heard of Pink Culture Cosmetics until I joined an FB group. The owner, Brittany, was working on some new products and new photography for her store. There were a few colors I wanted to try out and that's when I made my first order.

It didn't take long for my order to arrive, in fact it shipped the day after I ordered. 

It came packaged in this adorable pink vinyl (?) drawstring bag. I'm totally keeping it O_O;;; to use for other things!

I ordered five full-sizes and received 3 samples (clamshells).

03.04.13 - Chaos Cosmetics

I'm in a few makeup groups and in different groups, someone posted about Chaos Cosmetics. (Store is currently on vacation, but here is their Facebook page.)They had some gorgeous looking duochromes but also, their photos looked so editted that I couldn't help but wonder if the actual products looked like their photos.

In November 2012, Dark Heart Designs was having a 50% off sale. I had purchased only one time before and that was before they switched packaging, but it had been awhile (about 2 years?) since then. So, I decided I wanted to give it a shot. I ordered two sets, the Once Upon a Time Collection and the Deliciously Mad Collection [I would link them but their store is empty right now]. I must say I was disappointed... Read on...

01.14.13 - Sugarpill - Hearbreaker Palette

When Sugarpill came out with their new Heartbreaker palette, my hands were itching to get it. But, I decided to wait....

So Christmas goes by and I receive some money from some relatives and I was like "Omg! I need to get the Heartbreaker palette!" And that's what I did. They, also, had an adorable keychain... and I'm such a sucker for cute things...-_-;

01.11.13 - Dawn Eyes Cosmetics

One of the indie companies that I think doesn't get enough recognition is Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. Honestly, I think it's because her site is very difficult to navigate and the swatches are less than desirable. The truth though, the colors are amazing!!!! So let me share with you an order I did in October, when she was having a big sale. ^_^;

What I had ordered... She included two baggie samples but I've misplaced them -_-;;;; I mean, it's been a few months... :P Everything is swatched under an LED light and over TFSI

12.25.12 - Madd Style Cosmetics - Holiday in Whoville (and more)

MaddStyle Cosmetics had a new holiday collection come out along with a new website. The website is super cute. I like it more than their Artfire store which got quite confusing to look through. But I like this one more. If I'm not making any sense, I've got the flu and have taken a lot of medicine and I'm quite drowsy right now >_>

Anyway, it didn't take long for my order to arrive *dances*. I was super excited because Holiday in Whoville was a rainbow set which is super cute and I love a rainbow set! It's my first one, actually! In addition to Holiday in Whoville, I ordered a few extra eyeshadows which you'll see below. ^_^;

12.23.12 - Shiro Cosmetics

Merry Christmas's Eve's Eve! ^_^;; 

This is the third time I have ordered from Shiro Cosmetics. The first time being about 2 years ago, and the second when she came out with the Death Note collection. 

When Caitlin posted her new Christmas glosses, I had to have them! Not for me, but for other people.  [No swatches!, just quick photos of them since like I said, they're for other people]. Also, when she made her new Color of the Month, I had to have it! 

Anyway, onto the photos! Here's what I got in my package. She included some candy (not shown, as they've been sucked down already LOL) and two samples.

12.09.12 - Urban Decay NAKED BASICS

When I heard that Urban Decay was coming out with a smaller all-matte palette, I was all for it! That was awhile ago. I saw a sneak peak that someone posted on twitter and was wondering when it was going to come out. Lo and behold! A few weeks ago, they announced the Naked Basics palette. 

So I used the money I working on Black Friday and waited impatiently to get notified that it was on the website so I could buy it. I got the email notification while I was at work (lucky me, I can use my phone at work) and I tried to purchase it... It kept saying it was out of stock! I was so sad. One of my co-workers wanted to buy it too so she wanted to see if I could get it so SHE could get one also. (She can't have her phone on her... I'm in a higher position she is and am constantly contacted by the managers so... that's the only reason why I could have my phone. <--totally off topic ;P)

I was sad because it's being sold on the site first then you have to wait around February or something (I forgot) for it to show up in UlTA or Sephora... :/ But I was impatient and wanted it! Lol -_-;

Alas, I think the truth was they sent out the emails too early because when I got home, I was able to order it O_O;;; 

Anyway, that was my story LOL, here's the actual product >__>;

*halo sounds* Lol! Anyway, this is the packaging. If you know what the Vice Palette 's packaging was like...the NAKED BASICS has the same texture. It's quite sturdy so you can toss it in your bag and I did have it in my bag when I got it and it hasn't shattered.

12.03.12 - Mon Ennui - Perfect Pinup Collection

I follow, Mon Ennui Cosmetics on Facebook. And they posted a preview to their holiday sets...

Early Black Friday morning, I couldn't sleep. [Mostly because I had to be up super early because I am a retail slave and had to work in the wee mornings too] Luckily, my friend was up too so we were texting/FB messaging each other back and forth. We were talking about indie companies and different places we were thinking of buying from on Black Friday. 

I told her that the first place I wanted to get was ________________. Yeah, I couldn't remember the name of the company! -_-; After much scrolling on FB and searches for every indie company I follow, I found it again! And like I said, it's for Mon Ennui Cosmetics.  It was for this particular set, the Perfect Pinup Collection. 

Honestly, I'm not much of a neutral fan but lately (you'll see in the future posts), I've been getting a LOT of neutral colors. Anyway, back on topic!

I had never ordered anything through my phone (err online, not by calling :P) before and was hoping I didn't have to log into my laptop. But I did! Yay!

 I got this a few days ago. Honestly, I thought it would ship out later because of it being Black Friday and them having a big sale.

11.29.12 - Hard Candy: Single & Loving It!

I was in Wal-Mart the other day buying toothpaste and I went and wandered into the beauty aisle, cuz what makeup-obsessed person DOESN'T!? And encountered these gems!

These eyeshadows were a WHOPPING $3 (each)!!!!! 

09.10.12 - Coffret D'or: Shine Accent Eyes 01

Today's Asian Cosmetic post hails from Japan. Kanebo's Coffret D'or's Accent Eyes in shade 01.

I believe I got this in 2005(?) in a swap on Makeupalley. From what I've read Coffret D'or is Kanebo's mid-range line, gearing towards women in their late teens - twenties. As their shades are quite colorful and shimmery. 

Though the palette that I have is very neutral. ^_^;

 This is the palette. It's got a mirrored finish. As you can see, fingerprints show up easily! Though it looks very simple, it's still very elegant in a way. 

05.27.12 - Aromaleigh's MUSE Collection

Aromaleigh released two new collections in late March. One of them was the MUSE collection. The other was the BLOOM collection. 

I was drawn to the MUSE shades so that's what I got. 

Here's what I got. There were only five shades in the collection when I purchased them. Now, there's 10. So here are the first shades that were released:

05.27.12 - Detrivore Cosmetics

I have for you today, Detrivore Cosmetics. I got this a few months ago >_> Wow, I'm so behind. Lol! It was also my first time purchasing from them. They had a sale. I believe it was 10 (full sizes) for $20 plus there was another coupon so I got it cheaper than $20 ^_^;

Here are all the shades I got. I must say, I LOVE Detrivore! Like I said, it's my first time trying them and OMFG! WHY IS IT THE FIRST TIME!?!?!? :P~

04.08.12 - NARS Lhasa

My first review in this format will be a taupe. Why a taupe? Because I LOVE TAUPES! Lol! Anyway, this is going to be about NARS's Lhasa. First of all,  how do you even pronounce it? O_o; Is it like "Lah-sa?" or "Laha-sa?" 

04.05.12 - OMG what happened to your blog?!

I've deleted all my posts. There were two that I wanted to keep but I must've deleted the others pretty fast because I ended up not even saving those posts. The posts were the GlamourDoll Eyes' OTM colors. X_x; Whoops! I'll probably just re-do them.

Anyway, why did I delete my posts? I've been thinking of making this a review blog. When I made this blog, it was supposed to be about whatever. Then, I made two more blogs, one personal (it's very boring, so unless you want to read it, I'll link it :P) and the other is for my innocent+twisted stuff. 

I don't know, I like the template of this blog and I thought it would fit perfectly for making it just for reviews and I have a ton of stuff anyway O_O;; It'll probably take me a LONG time, but I still want to do it ^_^;

I think I'll mostly be reviewing eyeshadows and blushes since those are my loves. I plan on following a certain format: 

That's the format I'd like to do. I thought the "DUPES" was a good idea. If I'm reviewing non-indie products, I'll include indie dupes (if I can find them/have them). 

I plan on posting my first review in the new format soon :) I'm quite excited about this. Then again, most things excite me. Lol! I'm quite excitable ;D~
