I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos lately and thought that it would be a good idea to do a 2012 INDIE AWARDS thing ^_^; Taa daa!!! These are based on products that I've tried in 2012. [Mostly collections that actually came out in 2012 but there are a few products that came out I can't really say they're all products that came out in 2012]. Everything was purchased by me and this is obviously in my opinion.

And yes, I drew that drawing up there. It's supposed to be a skinny version of me ;) Lol.

Some items I don't have photos of so, please don't mind that >_>; You'll, also, see that some categories will only have one item and others will have three (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places). Everything is swatched in indirect sunlight. Anyway, onto the AWARDS! Yay!

One Hand Washes The Other: BLACK MAGIC

[Description from the site (CREAM version of it)]:
Black Magic- a unique blend of traditional essential oils and botanical ingredients combined with modern cleansing technology, this is a facial cleanser unlike anything you've ever seen.

It's absolutely LOADED with ingredients long used for toning, healing, and clarifying the skin: Tea Tree oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, Grapefruit Essential Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Vitamin E, Glycerin, French Green Clay, Rice Bran Oil, Apricot Kernel oil, and Activated Charcoal. In addition, the soap is made after I infuse the rice bran and apricot kernel oils (and then filter them) with a heaping handful of healing Calendula petals, long known for its skin-loving qualities.

The photo above is the Black Magic Cream. Personally, I like the bars better, but I've run out of the bar and have this tub left. You can bet I'll be purchasing more!!!!

The Cake is a Lie by OHWTO [yes, again :P]

[Description from the site]:
 The Cake Is A Lie: But it smells so REAL! Lemon-filled butter cake with thick, fluffy frosting. Lemon, Sugar, Cake batter & Frosting. Reformulated and added to the full-time list of Private Stock fragrances, TCIAL was originally a limited edition for Winter of 2011

[Description from the site]:
The original! A must-have for shimmery, sparkling shadows! This is not an eye shadow primer, or really a base. It is to keep sparkles on and/or to make shimmery shadows appear "glossy": a foiled look without foiling.
Originally developed and formulated in 2007, this unique "glue" is designed to hold the sparkliest, most shimmery eye shadows in place, minimize "fallout", and also to easily create a foiled look without foiling. Don't worry, it's easily washed off, and while keeps shadows in a water-resistant state, the product itself is water-soluble (no silicones or oils).

I couldn't think of what category to put this in. So I wrote primer/base. The truth is, I use this as a base after my primer O_o; Especially for mineral eye shadows. So if you love indie eye shadows like I do, this is a MUST HAVE! I know there are indie companies that have developed their own eye shadow primers but I haven't tried them yet and wanted to post only items I have experience with.

The tube in the photo (oh so blurry) is almost out :P

(Swatches are below)

Why did I pick Femme Fatale Cosmetics as my first place choice? Have you not tried her eyeshadows? Most of them are duochrome and they're AMAZINGLY strong duochromes! This photo doesn't even capture the beauty of it! O_O;;

If you didn't know by now, I'm the owner/creator of innocent+twisted Alchemy and I thought I would share with you my personal favorite collections that I have created! ^_^;

1st Place: Life is a Game
It took a long time coming, but I really love how it came out. It's too bad that it's a limited edition collection, unless people DEMAND that I keep it :P

2nd Place: Endless Rain
This isn't a limited edition collection, but I had a ton of fun making this set. The label art is done by my friend StrawberryMilkMade.

I can't decide between these two collections, so I'll post them both for 3rd Place!

Hell Wonderland Collection
When I first started i+ta, I wanted to create colors based on my art...and the first ones I did were for my Hell Wonderland illustrations. I love my Hell Wonderland drawings...

the Lurvlies
These colors are inspired by people I admire/my friends.
