01.11.13 - Dawn Eyes Cosmetics

One of the indie companies that I think doesn't get enough recognition is Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. Honestly, I think it's because her site is very difficult to navigate and the swatches are less than desirable. The truth though, the colors are amazing!!!! So let me share with you an order I did in October, when she was having a big sale. ^_^;

What I had ordered... She included two baggie samples but I've misplaced them -_-;;;; I mean, it's been a few months... :P Everything is swatched under an LED light and over TFSI

Fairy Wings - How do I even describe this color? It's a green base with a gold and green iridescence. It's not even a duochrome ... more like a tri-chrome.

I had seen someone post a swatch of this color and it had to be mine!!! :P

Golden Heather - The name of this color confuses me: :P It's a mauve with gold and purple shimmers and also has blue sparkles sprinkled throughout.

Brassy - I'm having a major derp moment trying to figure out how to describe this color. All I can think of is it's a deep gold. -_-;

Sweet Nectar - I think my lighting washed this color out. It is a lighter pink but it's darker than it appears in the photo. Anyway, Sweet Nectar is a light pink that has purple shimmers

Featherlight - This color is quite complex. It looks like a silver-y brown that has rainbow shimmers

Despite the labels, the website, and the site's swatches; I really think you should check Dawn Eyes Cosmetics out. The formula's really nice and the colors are beautiful and complex. I believe you'd be mighty surprised :)
