Detrivore Cosmetics was having a sale 3 for $10 and I couldn't pass up the sale.

Unfortunately, it did take quite awhile for it to arrive (about a month). I didn't mind but I know some people did. Is it worth the wait? I believe it is.

04.30.13 - Kiss my Sass

Anyway, I did an order with Kiss My Sass. I had wanted to place an order for awhile but I kept putting it off (who knows why!). My order arrived fairly quick! I was quite excited.

Please ignore the crappy lighting in this photo and the next photo >_<; The sun was going down. But this is how my order was packaged ^_^

Another crappy lighting photo. One of the colors leaked but thank goodness the shrink band sealed it in. So I didn't have exploded blue eyeshadow all over the place ^_^

04.01.013 - Pink Culture Cosmetics

I've never heard of Pink Culture Cosmetics until I joined an FB group. The owner, Brittany, was working on some new products and new photography for her store. There were a few colors I wanted to try out and that's when I made my first order.

It didn't take long for my order to arrive, in fact it shipped the day after I ordered. 

It came packaged in this adorable pink vinyl (?) drawstring bag. I'm totally keeping it O_O;;; to use for other things!

I ordered five full-sizes and received 3 samples (clamshells).

I'm in a few makeup groups and in different groups, someone posted about Chaos Cosmetics. (Store is currently on vacation, but here is their Facebook page.)They had some gorgeous looking duochromes but also, their photos looked so editted that I couldn't help but wonder if the actual products looked like their photos.

In November 2012, Dark Heart Designs was having a 50% off sale. I had purchased only one time before and that was before they switched packaging, but it had been awhile (about 2 years?) since then. So, I decided I wanted to give it a shot. I ordered two sets, the Once Upon a Time Collection and the Deliciously Mad Collection [I would link them but their store is empty right now]. 01.27.13 - Meow Cosmetics (Halloween / Friday the 13th Collections) Swatches Only

Hey everyone. I just found these on my camera >_>; Whoopsie! Lol! These were taken a month ago. I purchased these from Meow's Cosmetics in October. These sets come out only during Halloween or Friday the 13th.

One of the indie companies that I think doesn't get enough recognition is Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. Honestly, I think it's because her site is very difficult to navigate and the swatches are less than desirable. The truth though, the colors are amazing!!!! So let me share with you an order I did in October, when she was having a big sale. ^_^;

I don't know why Detrivore Cosmetics isn't more known. I've always wanted to try them out but only discovered them last year and heard many rave reviews and once I tried them -- I just loved everything. And that's why they won most of in most of my 2012 INDIE AWARDS.

2012 INDIE AWARDS

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos lately and thought that it would be a good idea to do a 2012 INDIE AWARDS thing ^_^; Taa daa!!! These are based on products that I've tried in 2012. [Mostly collections that actually came out in 2012 but there are a few products that came out before...so... I can't really say they're all products that came out in 2012]. Everything was purchased by me and this is obviously in my opinion. 

And yes, I drew that drawing up there. It's supposed to be a skinny version of me ;) Lol.

Some items I don't have photos of so, please don't mind that >_>; You'll, also, see that some categories will only have one item and others will have three (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places). Everything is swatched in indirect sunlight. Anyway, onto the AWARDS! Yay!

12.23.12 - Shiro Cosmetics

Merry Christmas's Eve's Eve! ^_^;; 

This is the third time I have ordered from Shiro Cosmetics. The first time being about 2 years ago, and the second when she came out with the Death Note collection. 

When Caitlin posted her new Christmas glosses, I had to have them! Not for me, but for other people.  [No swatches!, just quick photos of them since like I said, they're for other people]. Also, when she made her new Color of the Month, I had to have it! 

Anyway, onto the photos! Here's what I got in my package. She included some candy (not shown, as they've been sucked down already LOL) and two samples. 

12.03.12 - Mon Ennui - Perfect Pinup Collection

I follow, Mon Ennui Cosmetics on Facebook. And they posted a preview to their holiday sets...

Early Black Friday morning, I couldn't sleep. [Mostly because I had to be up super early because I am a retail slave and had to work in the wee mornings too] Luckily, my friend was up too so we were texting/FB messaging each other back and forth. We were talking about indie companies and different places we were thinking of buying from on Black Friday. 

I told her that the first place I wanted to get was ________________. Yeah, I couldn't remember the name of the company! -_-; After much scrolling on FB and searches for every indie company I follow, I found it again! And like I said, it's for Mon Ennui Cosmetics.  It was for this particular set, the Perfect Pinup Collection. 

Honestly, I'm not much of a neutral fan but lately (you'll see in the future posts), I've been getting a LOT of neutral colors. Anyway, back on topic!

I had never ordered anything through my phone (err online, not by calling :P) before and was hoping I didn't have to log into my laptop. But I did! Yay!

 I got this a few days ago. Honestly, I thought it would ship out later because of it being Black Friday and them having a big sale. 

Anyway, this is what I ordered...

 My order came with two samples, so that's what I'll be posting first. 

I like that all the labels have the names of the eyeshadows on them... 

07.29.12 - Venomous Cosmetics

So, I follow Venomous Cosmetics on FB and the owner posted her new colors and I got super excited especially for one color in particular. When she stated that they were in her shop, I quickly grabbed them up! I believe it's the Just Beachy collection. I can't really tell since the site is kind of weird right now and the FB photos didn't really say which was which >_<;;

Here's my order!

I admit, it did take awhile to arrive. Almost a month (?). Around the second week, I was looking around her FB and her site to check out the TAT but couldn't find it, or I was blind. The weeks afterwards, I was busy with life >_< and completely forgot to check.

A few days ago, lo and behold!!! I got my package! It was shipped in a bubble mailer. The products were wrapped in pink bubble wrap up the wazoo! O_o; Needless to say nothing was damaged. Lol.

She sent a few extras, the photo above shows the Lip Posion samples she sent but... I can't seem to find them >_< so I didn't swatch them ;___; Sorry!

Among the sample lip poisons, I also got a pen, a full-sized pressed shadow, and a coupon code for a free Lip Poison mini. ^_^ It's her way of apologizing for the long delay. [It said so in her hand-written note]

07.24.12 - Facebomb Cosmetics

Awhile ago, Facebomb Cosmetics had a sale. Buy 1, Get 1 Free! I used that opportunity to purchase some collections that I had been eyeing for awhile O_O;

I'm checking their site right now and I can't find the collections any more. I see some of the shades sold separately, but not the whole collections. The ones I purchased were: the Legend of Zelda vol 2 and the Empire Sparkles Back (lol! cute name :D)
